Often times Pit Bull will say they have a Colby dog.
Colby refers to the bloodline. The Colby family has been breeding Pit Bulls for over a 100 years. They are some of the very 1st fanciers of the breed which has continued from generation to generation.
There dogs are usually easy to recognize just by looking at them. Most of them are brindle or red, and usually have flashy white markings, although not all of them do. Colby dogs (along with other breeders) are the foundation for our modern APBTs.
