Many people often ask if their dog is a purebred. They might not have papers on their dog or it might have been adopted from a shelter.
Even seeing a picture of the dog no one can tell if the dog might be mixed. They can tell you if the dog does in fact appear to be pure, but thats all.
There are breeds who share similar physical appearance with the APBT and in other cases mixed breeds can appear to be a purebreed depending on which genes are dominant. If you dog if mixed with a breed similar to an APBT it might not be apparent.
