All to often I have seen Pit Bulls labeled as Albino who are not.
Albino's lack pigment, this is as true for dogs as it is for other animals.
I have run into many people who say they have an albino Pit Bull and when I see the dog it is nothing more than a White Rednose dog with gold eyes. A true albino is not common nor should they be.
Albino's have no pigment which means they would would not have gold eyes but pink eyes, nor would they have rednoses but pink noses (noses void of pigment).
While solid white/mostly white Pit Bulls may be at a risk for deafness Albino's are almost always deaf as there is no pigment in the inner ear which causes hearing loss. Albino's can also be prone to other health issues.
